Fit Model

The JOY head office team is currently searching for a new fit model.

You will be required to model sample garments before production whilst we make notes. You will not be photographed.

You will need to be a UK SIZE 12, roughly the following measurements:

Commercial Support Manager

JOY currently has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Support Manager to join our growing Retail team. We are looking for employees who have the personality to match our brand. The role of the Commercial Support Manager is to drive commerciality across all stores of the JOY business. To ensure this is done the business is looking for an individual to drive compliance and consistency across all stores. Commercial Responsibilities

  • Ensure all store are assisted in reaching their weekly targets.
  • Assisting the Finance team in forecasting and re-forecasting store targets across the business.
  • Addressing Profit and Loss reports across all stores for the profitability of the JOY business.
  • Implement individual store strategies.
  • Ensure effective communication is delivered across the business.
  • Support Store Managers in achieving company standards of AVT and UPT.
  • Have a positive influence to help drive performance across all stores as well as leading and managing all Store Managers.
  • Use regular Store visits; inter-department visits as well as meetings and reviews to manage Stores performance and expectations.
  • Support with recruitment of all Store Managers.
  • Hold and run regular training sessions to educate all staff on commerciality and its importance in the retail world.
  • Ensure that JOY policies and procedures are being rolled out.
  • Manage, check and monitor all stock take results. Be involved in a series of company stock takes to ensure compliancy.
  • You will check daily housekeeping as well as setting clear expectations.
  • Working with the Marketing and PR teams to ensure that your stores are being supported in reaching their targets

What we are looking for

  • You will have experience in commercial support manager role or similar
  • You will have experience in training, developing and monitoring staff.
  • You will have experience in ensuring that health and safety is being kept to an acceptable standard.

Studio Stylist

To assist the studio manager in ensuring the highest quality output for all photo shoots across the business, working to agreed style guidelines across fashion and still life. Work closely with senior members of the business to interpret new styling trends in a brand appropriate way. You will be responsible for managing the sample coordination to ensure the right product is available to shoot at the right time, working closely with the buying and ecommerce teams to understand priorities and maintain the product spec sheet. Work closely with the Content Coordinator to ensure all product copy has been written ready for image upload and there are no delays to product going live.

Main requirements/responsibilities:

  • To deliver best in class styling for all photo shoots
  • To ensure effective sample coordination for timely in-take and shoot production
  • Oversee the productivity and efficiency of the studio intern in conjunction with the studio manager
  • Identify areas for improved processes for increased studio output

Studio Intern

Our e-commerce photographic studio is looking for an enthusiastic individual to support the team. Ideally this would suit someone with some experience and an interest in either retouching, photography or styling.

This is a varied role and will need someone who is pro active and a fast learner. Your role will include running errands, preparing samples, keeping the studio tidy, helping with product preparation for creative shoots as well as the model shots and helping to set up the lighting.

You need to be proficient with Mac and have some experience with Adobe Photoshop. This is an administrative role and will not include any photography, you will act as the support to the photographer and training will be given.

Ops Admin Assistant

The Operations Admin Assistant will be assisting the Personal Assistant, Office Manager and HR Executive in looking after our retail stores nationwide. We are looking for someone with a strong passion to support the office and store teams with any operational issues and drive the sales within the team whilst working closely with other areas of the business. The main purpose of the role will be to provide operational and admin support in a busy fashion environment. Ideally looking for someone with experience in a retail and an office environment.

Junior Studio Retoucher

We are currently seeking out a creative and talented Junior Retoucher to work at our busy in-house studio.

The studio works across all the creative functions of styling, photography, retouching and visual merchandising for the website, to bring Joythestore.com to life.

As Junior Retoucher you will work alongside our studio team to retouch a variety of product images for Joythestore.com, including still life, invisible mannequin and model photography.

Samples of your work and references will be requested.

Main requirements/responsibilities:

  • Advanced retouching skills and varied experience working with both product and model imagery are key to this role.
  • Be a proficient Mac user with a developed knowledge of Adobe Photoshop CS6 and experience working with RAW files in Capture One.
  • An ability to work with layers, masks, liquefy, colour balance, filters and clipping paths within their workflow is essential.
  • Ensure all imagery is consistently retouched to the highest possible quality, meeting brand standards and guaranteeing products are accurately colour corrected and looking their best.

Accountant

Key responsibilities of the accountant job will include:

  • Responsibility for preparation of the management accounts
  • Management of the month end process
  • Supervision of all accounting processes (Gross profit reconciliations, monthly accruals and prepayments, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, Fixed Assets and journals)
  • Lead the company's financial accounting, reporting and control activities to ensure they are carried out efficiently, effectively and in line with best practice.

Accounts Assistant

Job role/responsibilities:

The main part of the job will be to take over the handling of the Purchase Ledger. Tasks will include:

  • Posting the invoices to the ledger
  • Reviewing Utility bills
  • Timely payment of all utility bills, including water. Phone etc
  • Liaise internally and with energy supplier to resolve account queries
  • Ensuring all suppliers' accounts are settled within our terms
  • Dealing with suppliers' queries

There will also be times when assistance is needed during busy times. Tasks may include:

  • Matching suppliers' delivery notes to invoices
  • Agreeing the price charged to our company purchase order
  • You may be required to take on other accounting duties such as dealing with employees' reclaims and reconciling bank statements.

  • To ensure all filing is done in a timely and accurate manner.

We are searching for a creative and innovative Sales Executive to join our dynamic team, who can further develop the success of Louche and push the growth of our valuable customer base. We are set to expand our wholesale accounts throughout the UK, Europe and on to America and Japan, from leading department stores to edgy independents. The successful candidate will be driven by exceptional customer service and the development of strong relationships. Day-to-day the role will be based in London, though travel both nationally and internationally to attend trade shows and client meetings is required.

Skills Required:
