  2. Time to reboot your spring wardrobe with the HYMN style edit

Spring means a reboot for your wardrobe.

It's time to pack away the heavy knits, over-shirts and all weather outerwear and start seriously thinking about the warmer days ahead.

Although it's still January, every wardrobe needs a little injection of sunshine so we've picked our new-in favourites from London based brand HYMN.

Remember, layering up is the perfect answer to transitional weather so get creative with your favourite t-shirts and shirts, throw on a lightweight sweater and pair with indigo denim or a classic chino and you'll be way ahead in the style stakes.

Here's our guide to the pick of HYMN SS15:

The polo shirt is a wardrobe staple whatever the weather, easily adaptable from off-duty casual to sportswear, HYMN update a classic silhouette and give it personality with contrast linings and collars.

A classic chino is the perfect alternative to denim. Worn with vintage brogues or with your favourite converse they are the go-to choice for work to weekend looks. The HYMN Turner Chino continues to be a best seller within the collection.

SS15 also means you need to inject a splash of colour into your wardrobe so we've chosen oranges and reds as a way to tempt the sun out.

  4. AW15 Jewellery Report

If there was a phrase that could sum up all of Autumn Winter 2015’s jewellery trends in one, it’d be ‘Go big or go home’. Whether you opt for ladylike pearls, tribal splashes of colour, or sophisticated geometric shapes, do it via chunky statement necklaces, huge chandelier earrings and bulky cuffs. Here’s a rundown of our favourite pieces.

    Tribeca

Taking inspiration from tribal designs, this style is a more grown-up take on summer’s festival themes. Keep the bright colours but swap out plastic and thong cords for sophisticated gold chains and delicate beading. During the day, bring the same vibe into dressed-down outfits with a cute tribal headband.

    My Fair Lady

AW15 catwalks saw plenty of costume drama this season and by that we mean huge crystalline costume jewellery from dangly earrings to statement necklaces; think ladies that lunch and want to be seen lunching. For an extra ladylike touch, you can never go wrong with pretty pastels and pearls either.

    Geometric System

The perfect accessory for this season’s minimalist shapes, simple geometric pieces are the jewellery of choice for those of you who just can’t do bling. Look out for delicate filigree items with straight lines and geometric shapes that will add a touch of elegance without being too ostentatious.

  5. Blogger Spotlight: Fox & Feather

Last month, we got in touch with London-based fashion blogger Leigh, from Fox & Feather blog, to see how she would style two of Winter '14 biggest trends - Victorian inspired lace and traditional tartan. The two pieces Leigh picked were; the Louche Quilla Top and the Louche Hersela Skirt.
Just like Leigh, we can't say goodbye to that festive feeling (it's only mid-January!) so we are loving how she has combined the rich red in our Hersela skirt with her own emerald green bandeau; under our soft eyelash lace Quilla top with her fedora hat. This look is a transitional outfit that can be worked separately throughout the year.
