GIFT CARD TERMS & CONDITIONS
 These are the Terms & Conditions of use for JOY Gift Cards that are available to purchase instore. Please read through each section carefully.
1. Once activated JOY gift cards can only be used for payment in
Joy stores. They cannot be used in Joy concessions in third party
department stores.
2.
Upon presentation of your card, payment for merchandise in full
(or in part if there is insufficient balance) will be deducted from
your current balance.
3.
Your new balance will be shown on your receipt every time
you make a purchase, in the currency in which your card is
denominated. This can be used for payments for future purchases.
No change will be given.
4.
JOY gift cards cannot be used for online purchases. (If you would like to purchase an online voucher please click here.) JOY gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash. This is not a credit, charge or cheque
guarantee card.
5.
This card will expire 12 months from date of latest transaction
which is defined as activation or top up. Any balance remaining
will be reduce d to nil and forfeited. This measure is in place to
ensure inactive cards are taken out of circulation. To avoid this
happening to your gift card simply top-up the card in store and
it will remain active for another 12 months.
6.
Please treat Joy gift cards as cash. If lost or stolen, they cannot
be replaced. Damaged, altered or cancelled cards will not be
accepted. Joy accepts no liability for cards that are lost or stolen.
7.
The minimum amount to top-up or activate is £5 and the maximum
card limit is £250.
8. No discount can be applied to gift card purchases including staff discounts.
9.
Purchases of Joy gift cards are not refundable under
any circumstances.
10.
Only refunds for faulty items originally purchased using a Joy gift
card will be credited back to a gift card. Any other return will be
dealt with in accordance the Joy refund policy.
